Hi everyone,
This might be a noob question, but should I expect any power gains from the hpfp? I currently have a custom stage 2 tune and was told I've hit the limit on the stock hpfp. With the upgrade, the tuner should be able to extract more power without upgrading the stock turbo Right?

he means fuelling potential. Why pay for stage 1 when stage 2 is only a bit more, and it is future proof.

It depends, but Dorch is a good value and detroitm2 may be able to get you a deal on a pump as well.
It comes down to Turbo and how much E85 you want to run.

Just Finished talking with Precision Racework after Dorch told me there is no ETA for stage 2 fuel pump restock (placed my order one week ago, guess they do have headaches from supply chain).
"BIG BORE" uses "Nostrum" in BM3 drop down menu, confirmed by custom support. |

I don't mean to hijack this thread. Just have a quick question I hope someone here has experience with. If I have an XDI 35 installed and flash back to stock, will the car run? If so how badly? Anyone have experience?
I need to have some warranty work done at the dealer including a full reflash and I want to make sure I can at least drive the car into and out of the service bay. I can flash to stock and put my tune back in the parking lot so it would be little driving at slow speed. Anyone ever tried this?

While I cannot speak on Dorch hpfp I recently ordered and installed the precision raceworks big bore fuel pump on my 2017 M2 and have nothing but good things to say about it. On stage 1 bm3 my car was breaking up due to fuel pressure but after installing the new pump the car pulls like a freight train. I also checked the "NOSTRUM" box within the settings for bm3 as per precision raceworks suggestion and the car is absolutely flawless. At $1500 for a stage 2 pump it was a no brainer and am happy I went with the big bore pump.

I upgraded dorch stage 2 from mike x-ph.com 15% off onsite, plus dorch black friday sale. less than $1300. Only bad part is I sort of back ordered it when it's out of stock on Nov. it arrived on mid Feb. Performance wise, It's working flawless. I can't do pros and cons for Big Bore cuz I went to Dorch in the end, but there service department looks great. They answer my stupid questions patiently and respond very quickly.

Even tho I’m only Dorch Stage 1, he worked with me to update the HPFP tables to get more flow out of Stage 1 (still not as high as Stage 2!) and it’s now part of the BM3 Stg 1 Dorch checkbox selection for everyone. |

My experience with Dorch HPFP is great, few weeks ago I ordered the LK 49% from Dorch.
Instead of them sending me the LK they emailed me asking about my set up, HP goal and what turbo I’m using. To see if the LK size is the proper one for my set up. *They could’ve just sent it, but they cared enough to choose the right one for my set up. |

I second that. Chris Dorch is fantastic. I had a strange issue that only showed up when I tried to move up to using E60-E85 in my tank. During troubleshooting, speculation kept moving from the upgraded LPFP, to the Dorch HPFP, to the Bootmod3 tune as the cause. At one point four different organizations were involved in trying to identify and fix the issue. Chris stepped up and volunteered to take the lead. He ended up solving the puzzle. (Turned out not to be a Dorch issue.) The engine runs beautifully on E85 now!

If anyone is looking. I have an XDI 35 available for sale. Used but with no issues and comes with everything you need. PM for more info.

Waiting for MHD to put more info about the HPFP stage 2 maps.
On stock turbo with full bolt on, 98RON what can we expect? Reliable 400whp? They say better mid range and top end. |

I’m also curious if it’s possible to run the Midnite motorsports throttle body injection on the HPFP map. |
