Just turned the big 30, business is good, treating myself to an M2. It will be here soon, going in production week of June 6th!!! It is going to be my fourth BMW, at age 18 335i, at 22 E46 m3, at 26 E92 m3, at 30 M2 can't wait............

Reading all of these post and looking at the poll, I believe my wife will be at the northern end of the spectrum. She will be 65 when we pick up her M2 in Munich. The ED will include a lap at Nurburgring for both of us. And, she wanted the MT. There is a reason we've been married nearly 40 years; she refuses to get old.

Yes Im 63 and automotive engineer who has loved performance cars all my life.

Past cars are: WRX highly modified, HSV R8 VZ and now the M2. Its in the shed and not a daily driver as I have an Hyundai Elentra as a run a round car.

This is probably the last performance car I will own prior to being sent down kicking up daisies.

I always wanted to take a piece of the world with me and now Im set up for it.

25 here. Going from driving the old family car (2006 VW Jetta) to this. I had been saving my pennies for a house, but I figured I could hold off on the house and buy my dream car instead It's been all smiles for me, so I think I made the right decision

Did you already pick yours up in Maine? I'm not too far (in NB, Canada), and will be making a trip there later this summer with my M2. Maybe we could meet up.

They sure are changin'!! I think I was driving a used 1981 Mitsubishi Challenger at 24! ... at least until the transmission fell out on the highway.

25 - this will be my sixth BMW.

I have already owned a 320d Sedan (E46), a 330d Touring (E91), a 520d Sedan (F10), a M135i Hatch (F21) and still own (and keep) a M3 Convertible (E46). Other than that, my first car was a Peugeot 306 Cabriolet - after that I've started the already (long lasting) relationship. Note: all of my recent cars were/are self funded (except the Peugeot and the first 320d E46).

I am just a crazy car guy, no wealthy family or whatsoever. I am just having priorities and I am always being thankful for being in that situation to be able to live my dreams in such a young age.
