Cruise control programming.

Cruise control works in Comfort, Sport, and DSC off. Does not work in Sport+ or MDM. I find it interesting that I can use it in DSC off but not in MDM. Not sure of the logic there?

Interesting observation. I didn't realize it worked in DSC off. Can't figure out what their reasoning for that would be.

I did use it yesterday at Road America. I had DSC off for my hot laps and then for cool down simply set the cruise at 60 and hauled through every corner with no brakes.

I recall reading something a few years ago about the dangers of Traction Control and Cruise Control on wet/snowy roads. Something about the system continuing to speed up the car after the car senses a wheel slipping some how it makes the cruise control think it has to speed up the other wheel? It was a while ago, I'd have to look it up again. Thus "they" recommend not using cruise control in the rain or snow.

Must be something in there.

thats is such a great idea, i had tried in MDM as so wrongly assumed that it wouldnt work in DSC off.

I tested today and turning on CC turns off Sport+, MDM and DSC off in my car.
