Update: BC a miscommunication with shop I got two new front rims, but it was 1 front 1 rear that was bent... So the new Fronts are on the Back 19x9.5" ET 22 ! and stocks are on front... But the old fronts were et 35 and 9" so these are concave like rears and will stick out 20mm, or almost an inch more than the previous once they are on front. Rears are 10" ET 45 Put somehow still were flush and looked good. May do a 15mm spacer in rear... Wheel is at repair shop...They said may be fixable may not. Ill know Mon. If not Ill probably buy 10.5" ET35 ***Installed JB4 and Rev 3 Connect Today more on that tomm...But FUN day Heat wrapped it and tucked it near intake (coolest part of engine bay...Also wrapped harness exposed to high heat in DEI heat shield (see pic) Enzo Performance will be dyno tuning and fine tuning there BEF JB4 Hybrid next week...I should have meth by then also and the 3" exhaust cutout. Got my VRSF Charge Pipes in the mail TD. Installing myself tomm. And heat wrapping exhaust... Also may get H&R Springs installed tomm if I can find a good shop that doesn't rape me or Ill just buy a spring compressor lol. Now I must decide, VRSF FMIC, or AA, Evolution Raceworks. I returned my Can flap since JB4 does same thing so I have $280 credit at BMS...Smart thing is to put that toward meth or FMIC, since e85 is so avail here as is 93, the FMIC is smarter I think....Also want the short shift kit..I want everything. I don't know your back ground in modding but unless you wires are running near an exhaust heat wrap is over kill and often looks tacky. You can get the braided expanding wire covers and heat shrink the ends for that professional look. Also when in doubt solder wires long term the ez connectors become a failure point.
I think you need a build plan it seems like you just want to do everything which will have you car down more then it's up. Do you want a track car? Drag car? What's the goal. A bigger turbo won't be linear. And if it's not efficient where you want to be it may be pointless. Just my thoughts. Last edited by firestarter2; 08-27-2016 at 07:00 PM.. |

Reading whats ACTUALLY on my car its clear im building it around stock turbo w ability to upgrade later, and yeas a bigger turbo at same boost, air is MUCH colder so at 21psi the DME senses no knock potential and is steady and safe.so 20psi, adv timing, stayin lean to redline will usuaully make a linear powerband... I drove aroud and road tutned my JB4 all day today that turbo gets red hot after one 1/2 run even at night as well as the FMIC. No one had gotten it it hold over 18-19 steady yet (that I know off, and everyones have mis firing issues at higher engine speeds causing u to shift early and fall back out of youur peak power. M

Because, you already have black cars - as does 50% of all other drivers in the universe. Yes, the car looks GREAT in BSM, but it will be very near lots of other black cars on the road. Won't be a lot of LBB-like colors out there.
That said, I have also already asked myself that question too.

Just realized I havent posted in here for a while...
UpdateL This is a big week...My 3" boost actuvated exhaust dump is being installed. The car is getting a set of H&R springs. Im getting all season tires put on and then getting them repaired (2/3 curbrash) after wilter... Also ordering Sparos, or Recaros and harnesses to be used the summer fall...Once winter hits warming seats will b a must lol... windows getting tinted. EWG jb4 wires installed VRSF I/C piping installed, ordering the actual FMIC tonight or tomm hopefully theyll b installed together... Last but not least running a combo of a cheap DIY Water sprayer using the wiper fluid resevoir as a source along side cry02 c02 cooler laid over the i/c... ive done this before with massive success, literally iced up in mid 60*F tenps.... Also ordering a methanol kit this week...Cant decide between BMS, AEM, or snow...Any suggestions???

Nah Matt, sorry to say the vlaue of the car compared to damage is no where near totalled the car isn't worth 15k like a 5 year old 135i... its bb value is still in the 60s and the damage isnt anywhere near 40k...
...And considering I grew up with you and your family from when you were literally 6-7 years old, thanks for asking if I'm OK . I Just got out of the Hospital,because a 60 year old woman plowed me at 50+ mph trying to beat a yellow light while I sat at the red light at the end of Bell Ave.....I spun 2 times and had to kick the door to get out. Totally not cool to post that up and try and try to shame me or something. Car will be fixed and I will heal, and actually, received my BMS Meth Kit Today along with my VRSF7" FMIC...DEI Cry02 Intercooler C02 Cooler & Water Sprayer and N Xpress 35 wet shot with RPM/WOT Window switch and Illuminated Purge Kit... Hoosier R7's are ordered, and Dinan N55 Big Turbo is the last thing on my list.... Also had my 3" Boost Activated "Loud valve" installed yesterday which added a solid amount of power and completely eliminated Lag. Ill Throw up a Youtube Vid later....And Here are some Pics.

Few Pics of the new mods that are gonna collect some dust for a few months, More Tomm...Lastly a vid of my 3" Exhaust dump open, FYI 30mph WOT 4th gear makes full 18-21psi around within about a second...Had to add at least 30-40whp over OEM Exhaust, Could imagine more with meth, and a larger Ice covered FMIC LOL....
