30. The M2 was supposed to be my 30th birthday present to myself in July, but allocation availability had another idea. Finally found a built one just as I want it that I'm picking up this weekend, so better late than never!

47, almost 48. My son is 16. He's playing hooky from school this Friday to accompany me to the performance center in South Carolina to pick up my LBB M2 with a manual transmission. I don't know who's more excited, me or him.

This thread is funny and hits home for me. I'm 49 and struggled b/t getting the M2 and a new Cayman. Went with the Cayman, love the car but would be second guessing it no matter what car I picked.

Great thread. 29 here. In 2011 I bought myself a new Evo X for finishing grad school and getting my first real job. Now I'm buying the M2 to congratulate myself on finishing business school I considered being responsible and paying off school loans first, but after two stints in grad school I'm tried of living frugally

Just turned 35 yesterday!
Have had multiple toys but this is my first BMW and I'm enjoying every second of the whole process.. Since the first time I saw it in January until I picked up during the Performance Delivery.. I have a couple hats at work but mainly I'm the Program/Product Manager for a Software Company.

Just hit 40 here. I'm driving a 335i xDrive sedan which I'm going to keep (winter dd and when I need 4 doors with the family) and then add my M2. Just waiting on that allocation!

As much as I love the M2, its never going to feel as special as a mid engine Porsche will. The most fun I've ever had in a car was driving a Boxster Spider around the track at Monticello Motor Club, the thing was just so amazingly balanced and everything just felt PERFECT. If anyone here doesn't need the back seats and can cough up the extra dough for the Cayman, just get the Cayman and don't even bother with the M2 since it will never be as great a car for pure driving enjoyment.
