Let's be real. This forum complains about crooked seats, angled steering wheels, moonroofs, etc.... if heat soak was prevalent, EVERYBODY here would be bitchin'

My experience with this is the stock setup is fine. As soon as you start adding boost, temps creep up about 20min into a session and the car will start to pull timing. Installing a larger intercooler fixed that issue.

I’ll log oil and coolant temps on my next outing to figure out which is closer to the high end of its optimal range.

Enjoyed all the info in this thread. Have an F80 m3 and love it but I see the appeal of smaller more nimble car growing on me by the day.

One quick question, the link that was posted earlier by CosmosMPower stated that "the M2 has an increased gas tank over the M235i." However, the table in the link shows both to have 52 liter tank.

Can anyone confirm if the table is wrong and the author is correct as I see it as 13.7 Gal or 52 liters in the few other sources I checked.
