I have a secret compartment in my jeans" pocket that holds coins. And one in my briefcase that holds pens. I have one in the fridge that holds butter but it's not a secret.

don't get me started.. I know I know, trying to keep weight down - we all got it for the engine and suspension but they could not have made this thing any more stripped down and cheap feeling. sit in an E300 sometime for the same cost and try and not feel ripped off. again I love the car but really..

Yes, they could have. They could have also not used the 2-series platform at all, but then it wouldn't have been an M2.

Sure. You can call that acting in her best interests but they’ve totally left her hanging. Good luck getting any type of international service with Chase if shit hits the fan. They’re just not built for it. Waived foreign transaction fees and lounge access does not make one a international card. Amex sent her a card on my behalf overnight halfway across the globe and they have a local office that’s taking care of her in the meantime. So I tend to disagree with “Amex is nowhere near as good to deal with”. But I digress. Looking forward to getting my M2 in October. I’ll be on the lookout for the secret compartment. Lol. Mine came in a nice stainless steel case with personal engraving and a CD ROM with instructions. Both were brought out from the back office in a brief case hand-cuffed to the salesman's arm. I think he was armed. Mike

Then they took me in the back and showed me the super secret compartments in the car. The door pockets are just the beginning. I was sworn to secrecy so you will have to find the rest on your own. I was told that anyone caught revealing this information would have his car confiscated and immediately crushed.

I use a minimalist wallet called the identity wallet, its a piece of carbon fiber that is essentially an S looking at the end and it holds about 8-9 cards very easily. Keep it on my front pocket so I don't even know its there. Gave up on a conventional rear pocket wallet many years ago when I hurt my back and learned how bad sitting on a wallet it for your back. Spend the money and retire the ziplock.

I?d love the M2 to have M4 CS style door cards. However I think the CS/Competition will be a fat M4 style luxury interior. We?ll need to wait for the CSL/GTS before we get a proper M2

secret features
so i was running this morning and the thought came to me. tell me about a secret feature you didn't know your m2 has until after you own the car for a while.
rule: ONE secret feature per poster - because it's no fun for everyone else if someone just lists everything. disclaimer: i spend very little time on this forum, so if a post like this came up before, i just wouldn't know about it. sorry for wasting your time. if you feel like wasting more time, feel free to link that post because i'd love to read about it. my discovery: i didn't know about the secret storage compartment (see pic.) on the door until months later after i bought and daily drove the car. i'm hiding koozies there so that i can keep water/drinks cool on long trips. |

Best door storage design BMW did was the E92 coupe and E93 convertible. The storage area was completely hidden when closed and easily opened by moving it forward. It was very well made and had a nice felt lining to keep things from moving inside the compartment. They should have kept the design,it was incredible.
