Acexxon are these covers or replacements of the OEM corner braces?

If they are replacements dunno if aluminum is better than steel for torsion/rigidity purposes

Hi, they are replacements of the OEM corner braces. Even though they are in aluminum, we have made them thick and robust. There are many companies that make the braces in different materials, and people are always going to argue that steel is more rigid.

Also take a look at how thin the OEM corner braces are, they are pretty much stamped metal sheet, so under this circumstance, I am pretty confident to say that ours will be stronger than the OEM ones.

Just need to jack the car up and you create a gap, you would probably need a right angle driver attachment or a 1/4" ratchet with an extension for the top screw. Everything else, follow IND's video or UltraMagneticAL 's youtube video

I installed it with the wheels on, WITHOUT raising the car up...following ultramagnetical’s video! Super easy install.

look very good but I'm afraid that long term stiffening the chassis with a bar and more rigid corner braces might damage the struts or something. I'm a bit OCD about these things

Thanks for the feedback, the car will be going hard on the track again and we shall find out . However, the whole point in strengthening the chassis is so that during hard cornering, it prevents distortion in the chassis. It should make the front end more precise and rigid and I don't think the car's chassis can be damaged while these braces are only trying to hold the chassis in it's original form.

If you look at the M3/M4's carbon brace, that thing can actually withstand more force than these aluminum bars.

Looks great. Will the braces clear the Dinan intake box? I know the stock braces had to be trimmed to accommodate that. Would be awesome if you came to market before Dinan made theirs.

Can we please keep this thread on topic - 'rear reflector kit'?

It's been a while since the F87 M2 Rear Reflector Kits went on sale through iND. They have done an excellent job helping me getting these kits to the people in the US and other parts of the world. Since then I was able to make more of these kits for other models (M5, X5M, M3/M4 and other brands; VW Golf and so on).

I recently had an idea to do the kit in body color to make it more visible. So I kinda figured out a way to do it, but still need to do a better color matching if I was to make more of these. What do you guys think?

I have been absent for a while working on a more practical product. Had issues with mass producing the strut braces, but should be ok now. Gonna eventually launch all these different products soon and already have an idea about something very cool, but again that'll take some time as it involves electronic parts......
