First live pictures of M2 LCI

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Hi there, I am new to this forum and I thought it's worthwhile to start a new thread enabling people to add pictures of their early M2 LCI deliveries. I am really curious how you like the LCI changes. I'll pick up my MG M2 LCI mid of September.

The front headlights make such a difference. Say what you want but they do. So excited for mine to get here. It just left the production line today. 2 weeks and the baby should be here!

Is it me or the driver's knee pad and the double stitching on the dash are not contrast long beach blue stitching?

Love the headlights and nice touch on the gauges. I am not a huge fan of the tail lights. My BSM comes mid-end of September and so I need to make some final decisions on parts!

My plans are black grille, maybe gills, spoiler, m perf coilovers, turner spacers 5mm rear 7.5mm front, exhaust M perf or Armytrix or just resonator delete, front splitter Lightweight or Sterckenn, and maybe the RKP diffuser. And that is how to get a wife very irritated.

Not a fan of the huge eyebrow in the headlight. Gauges are an improvement. Definitely looks like a lot less double stitching on the interior. Few downgrades considering the price increase for sure. Wonder if the dash materials themselves are any different.

When I placed my order my CA told me that there were two interior options:

Black Dakota Leather with Blue Stitching and Black Dakota Leather.

I didn't believe it at first but this makes me think that it was actually an option...

Don't know, that pics looks awfully washed out. You can barley see the blue stitching of the floor mats. Looking at the LCI pics, the dash does not get any blue stitching.

My MY18 is currently on the train to Bremerhaven, hoping to take delivery in the US during the first week of August.

And I agree, the new lights are pimp. And pimpin' ain't easy, so kudos to BMW on the design change.

Can you get oil temp on on the dash now? It appeared the LCI 240m shows oil temp.

Anybody know what the costs of the new headlights are to retrofit to 2017?

In the last shot of the gauge cluster, it shows the headlights are on but the speedo lighting is still in white? Does it not switch to red when the lights are on?

I was also under the impression that it would switch to red/orange when headlights are on. But (please correct me if I'm wrong) isn't it just showing the parking lights (the green lights symbol) are on?

Probably quite a bit.IMO it isn't worth doing. The new LED headlights look good but so do the Xenon headlights on the current M2.The only thing I don't like about the Xenons is the yellow turn signal bulb.It would have looked so much better having an LED turn signal bulb integrated into the headlight cluster.

I think there is a setting for the new gauges where you can select white or red lighting for the gauge cluster. The green symbol means the headlights are on.

IMHO, the headlights look great, as do the new gauges. The rest of the interior and the taillights are a downgrade, however.
