MY2018 allocations?
So I ordered my M2 back in March and I'm now first in line for an allocation
Up until now my dealership hasn't been able to give me a time frame on how long it'd take to get until an allocation but now they say they might be able to get one by the end of the month and that it will be for a 2018 model Is this true? Have they already started to send out allocations for the 2018 models and if so, if I do get one by the end of the month would it be going into production in July? |

My guess is early 2018 allocations will be released in the next few weeks, production for the 2018's starts in July so clearly they have to begin releasing the allocations soon. Not sure what the volume will be, I haven't talked with my source lately as I have my car now but I doubt the volume will increase a whole lot. Knowing your dealers allocation volume this past year will give you a sense of how likely it is they are getting an allocation for you soon.
The term "order" gets thrown around by the dealers all the time, in reality all they have done is enter their desire for your car into the order bank, once you have a production number you have an actual order. |

Hey guys,
an interesting information you guys mind find useful. I had my EU order on the M2 to come in June. Today I got a call from my dealer asking me if I'm in a hurry with the car, I of course said no as I knew where this is going. He told me he has an allocation for the face lifted version scheduled to be delivered in July. Getting the last conformation from him tomorrow. Will keep you updated. |
