So I read on PH someone mention they'd been offered a new unregistered car for 4% under list - seems a bit surprising if true unless maybe it's an MY2016 that has been sat in the showroom or something.

I'd take an offer like that (MY2017) if the spec was right rather than waiting it out for December delivery as I am at the moment for sure!

Spotted two this week, one on the M25 going clockwise pass clacketts 4ish on Wednesday and another one at jct 10 Ashford yesterday 11ish. Anyone on here ?

Had mine about two weeks now, loving it, plenty fast enough and sounds great even with the standard exhaust. I was thinking about changing the chrome bits but I quite like them on LBB.

That could have been me in the Alpine White.

I was on my way back from Brands Hatch but It would have been more like 5pm if it was me.

The writings on the wall I reckon now the fanfare is dying down a little and the Auto trader offerings are languishing.Talk of a new engine in the LCI next year adds to the mix also.

It might even be possible that once Christmas is behind us
discounts may prove to be more...

Yeah I guess the best window of opportunity would be IF you could get a small discount in the new year on a MY2017 car but before the VED changes in March.

I'm not wholly convinced of an engine change on the 'standard' M2 model in the next year especially given the production volumes but I'll be a bit disappointed if there is. Some dealers are still quoting ridiculous lead times and waiting lists while others are 'reportedly' offering build slots for this quarter - a large disparity of availability across dealers it seems.

Auto Trader now has a 66 plate up for £47,950

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classifi...code=p&adPos=1

Been watching the amount of M2's on this site since June, steady flow of at least 20 cars usually.

I was going past Clacketts Lane on Wednesday, but it was anti-clockwise and around 1800. Long Beach Blue.

Yeah, and this talk is utter nonsense. No way is the M2 getting a new engine!

I know what you mean - funny how all the peeps running the track sessions were blokes but the people you dealt with all day were all stunning girls.
Mel was amazing, so pretty and such a cool person to talk to too.
Hope you enjoyed your day as much as I did... was fun ragging someone else's M2 for a change along with the M4, M6, i8, etc.

Did you guys pay to do the BMW Experience Day or did you get an invite? Would be cool to be offered something like this after doing the Porsche Experience at Silverstone a couple of times.

I got mine from BMW as an apology for the whole differential debacle - I believe everyone waiting for a new diff was offered the same or £300 in BMW accessories, their choice.

Dodgy Dealers on Auto Trader

Found 2 adverts using the same images to advertise a 6MT LBB M2, seems the Balmer Lawn Garage Ltd photos are degraded compared to the Clinkard Ltd photos.

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classifi...code=p&adPos=9

After checking each dealership websites Balmer Lawn Garage is playing naughty tricks...

Seems they've also changed the colour as their M2 is in "Pacific Blue"!
But why advertise a car they don't have? Seems very odd. Some scam I'm unaware of?

Maybe trying to generate click bait for their website / business, using someone else's images is a bit low...
