Ferrari red and alpine white

Very nice photo shop skills. I'd say this M2 will have more potential than some are thinking.

I'd like to see a render without the bumper fangs, and with a design like the M3/M4. Can you create one?

Additionally, I don't even think it needs the wide body kit. Give it the real CF treatment (100-150 pound reduction in weight), S55 engine, ceramic brake option, CF bucket seats and call it a day.

$85-90K USD and it will sell out AND be the best car BMW has made since the E46 CSL.

DMBoone25 is spot on! i couldn't agree more.

I don't think he was just referring to the roof, if that's what you mean.

Bravo! Renderings look fantastic!

That wing finally made me like the M2. It somehow balances the proportions of the car and complements the flares in my opinion.

With the launch of the M2, some of us are already speculating that there will be a GTS or CSL version, like the M4.

The M4 GTS was basically a M4 MotoGP pace car in disguise. So I used the M2 MotoGP pace car bits to convert the stock M2 into a GTS. I've added a carbon fiber roof to follow the lightweight philosophy of the GTS...

Modifications are:
1- Front and rear carbon side winglets (M Performance part)
2- Carbon fiber front spoiler (Custom to the MotoGP pace car)
3- Carbon fiber rear wing (from M4 GTS and MotoGP pace car)
3- Carbon fiber roof (speculative rendering)
4- Lowered suspension (from the MotoGP pace car)
5- Blackened kidneys
6- Darkened windows and windshield

Here are the before/after pics and animated gif to show the transformation.

In the near future, I'll be modifying more bits such as
1- M Mirrors (carbon fiber)
2- More colours for the body
3- Wheels
4- Any other suggestions, feel free to suggest...

Cheers!
The black kidneys alone make it look so much better

With new lights (from 4-series concept car) and M4 Carbon Ceramic Brakes. Now I think it does look like a proper CSL...

The Signal Green colour is very cool! Wouldn't expect to see that on an M2.

Big respect for doing a render in Phoenix Yellow. That is my favourite BMW colour! I would love to see that car get built.

Understand your point of view, but wider body is also inspired by the e46 CSL to give it a more special look compared to the stock version.

Cheers!
