I had an '11 135i MSport. I had the dealer install the M PPK and it made all the difference in the world wrt sound and acceleration. Im not sure we even had an M135i in our market which I believe is a 135i Hatch that never made it to America.

I was just in Germany for a few weeks and it's amazing how many E8x 1-series you see driving around, except the coupe was never sold there except in convertible form (EDIT: it may have been sold there, but the take rate must have been very low). All the rest are hatchbacks, which if you like a hot hatch, are really quite good-looking.

I must have gotten bad info, but I'd heard from several places it wasn't available and I have never seen a single one in many months of travel there (and being an E-82 owner, I look for them). E8x hatches all over the place, and the occasional 'vert, but I've never seen a coupe. Anyway, the M135 was, I believe an F2x chassis. You see quite a few F2x around there too (most of my time there gets spent in Franconia).
