Wait, is that a M3/M4 dashboard in there.... must be as the instrument cluster is larger?

Didn't think it would fit (length).

Fantastic build with tons of carbon fiber replacing the standard bits but the red wheels and neon calipers are too loud IMO. I'd tone it down with anthracite wheels and red calipers. Here's how I'd have it look like.

Yeah, that's how I would order 'my M2 CSR'

Fun thing is, Lightweight (themselves) are actually driving this thing on the NS and other tracks, I'm eagerly awaiting those laptimes in one of the German carmags within a few weeks (I guess)

Cheers

I would think that coding the M2 dash to the S55 must have been such a bear that it was easier to bring the dash too

Probably, but we know the M3/4 (S55) have (analogue) oil temp gauges, so they needed to have that too I guess?

Having sat in an M4 and an M240, the cabin seemed a decent bit wider in the M4. This M2 is so customized, down to the carbon fiber door cards, they probably got some extra width. I bet they could have fit an M6 dash in there!

This is what the m2 should have been (maybe a little less aggresive).

The M2 with an S55 or a Real S engine based on the S14 and 200-300 pounds lighter would have been easily one of the best cars BMW has ever released.
