Week 23

Been waiting over a year for mine and it's finally getting close enough to seem real! Have confirmation for PCD but don't have a date yet.

You should talk to your SA. I'm week 25 and I have a PCD date.

You mind me asking what date they gave you? I only asked for PCD a couple of weeks ago and it was only confirmed yesterday so I just figured a date would be coming shortly.

Edit - Just got off the phone with the Genius who told me they don't assign PCD dates until the car has arrived at port so I'm not sure how you got a date.

07/14/2017 is my date.

I'm 99.99% sure it's possible because I received an email from the performance center confirming my date with my production number in the email. They also CC'd my SA in the email they sent me. Well I'm not quite sure what the exact procedure is but I have my PCD date, that's why I'm assuming it's "possible."

Week 25 starts June 19th I believe, which would mean that they have scheduled delivery less than a month from your production date?? Something doesn't seem right there. Maybe they moved up your production date like others have experienced?

Yeah possibly. The manager did tell me it's between week 23 or week 25. I was surprised by the date too but I feel confident because the PCD emailed me themselves with the production number confirming the date.

Ya, I am not doubting that you have the PCD date you are saying but in order for that date to be realistic, your build week must be much much sooner than week 25 (from what I've read on these forums).

Like a lot of people, im having a hard time deciding on a color. Started out wanting LBB, but when I got my allocation, I ended up going with BSM. Then, I changed it to LBB a month ago and am now thinking of changing to either MG or BSM. The only M2 ive seen in person was a black one in a show room, and a friend had a MG M4, so I know what those two colors look like, but ive never seen anything in LBB and fear that it will look too much like turquoise which I wont like. Decisions, decisions.

LBB definitely has some green tinge in it in the correct light, but I wouldn't really call it turquoise.

I'm out of town but my wife was able to go look at an LBB M2 yesterday at a dealership and really liked the color. So I'm going to take her word for it and stick with LBB. Guessing production starts around the end of next week

I've owned 3 blue cars in a row now... I was kind of wanting my next car to be something not-blue, but I don't want black, gray, or white, so I'm going with LBB. (I was considering going with white but a coworker has a white 435 and I didn't want to feel like I was copying him. Plus then my entire department would have white cars in the lot at work, which also seemed weird...)

I've seen LBB in person on a car and really liked it though. It's enough of a change from my previous 3 blues that it at least feels somewhat different.

Production started! Seems to be a week or so early so that's good. Still no date for PCD though

Is no one else Week 23 on here? Wondering if cars currently under production will be affected by the supply issue

I never received a production date from my dealer but I did get my VIN number.
Just by looking at what was produced in the past month, I think I should be a week 23 or week 24 production.

For what it's worth, this is the info that I found out:

Week 18: 45 M2's Built
Week 19: 71 M2's Built
Week 20: 56 M2's Built
Week 21: 37 M2's Built

If you have your VIN, then it's already under production. Week 23 should be complete by 6/2

Seems they have moved production up slightly. I was week 20 and my car was finished on May 13.

I was originally week 23 back when I received my production number, but moved up a week by the looks of it.
