I'm normally a huge fan of brighter colors, and in fact still am. However, I also believe the color should fit the car. That is, of course, all subjective.
For me, the M2 in Mineral Gray is where it's at. MG perfectly matches the car's character - a no BS/no fluff sports car that will tear it up and doesn't care if anyone notices it or not. I actually like LBB on the new X6M, but I felt that it just doesn't work for the M2, for the above reasons. MG is totally badass and fits the M2 perfectly in my book. YMMV as always. |

You realize color is subjective don't you? They teach you that over there?

imo mineral grey is incredibly dull and boring stock. IF and key word is IF you mod it with some nice blacked out M accents and some carbon and a set of rims it can look outstanding.
As to long beach blue I'm the wrong guy to ask as I think it looks great at night in low light when it's a deep sky blue but I really don't like it during the day in the bright as it looks seafoam green or turquoise. That is totally subjective though so whatever. between the two i'm picking MG and then putting carbon bits on it with bronze HRE wheels. |

I've got black M accents. (grills and side).
I'm too old for bronze or gold wheels though. I think the stock wheels fit the MG just fine. |

I've had every shade of silver/gray/titanium in my previous cars and all of them look dull in unedited pictures. They look amazing, when you get the lighting and contrast just right, which means you need to keep it clean, and waxed/glass coating to make it pop. Like many have said, once you start adding some black accent pieces to the gray, the dullness slowly turns into an understated aggressiveness that LBB just can't compare. MG has a lot of potential, but IMO, in stock form, it is pretty boring.

LBB is too bold/loud for me. It is an attractive color but I would tire of it after 1 month. MG is the better choice! Basically your comments about MG fit the BSM better(which is really a very dark gray!). Then again I am biased! |

I have LBB and I'm extremely happy with the color because I love it in dull light when it's a darker blue and I also love the turquoise aspect of it in brighter light. That being said if I had the choice again I would have very very tough time choosing after seeing the MG in person with some black accents and cf. It really does show the body lines the best imo and is a sleeper color that really looks like a beast when lowered a little with some accents to it. I think I would have a very tough time choosing if I had to again.
That being said I don't think you can go wrong with either choice! Both are the top two colors for the M2 in my opinion. Good luck! |

Both good choices. I went LBB because I wanted a change of pace. I have had a lot of black, silver and grey cars in the past. LBB really pops in the sun.
