That particular boat only stops in MD, GA and SC for the USA ports of call right now. Yours was most likely on another boat since you said your original expected arrival in the states was 3/29. I would give the BMW Genius hotline a call to see if they have any updates.

Getting closer. The Horizon Highway is now moored at its first USA port of call after picking up the cars in Germany. It arrived in Baltimore harbor a little while ago. After it leaves, next stop is Brunswick, GA and then on to Charleston middle/late next week.

Anyone know how long its taking these days on average to clear VPC and transit. Due to the delay at sea things are looking tight. Charleston port 4/14, PDC pickup 4/26

Coming in hot, it's almost to Brunswick at least. Bazgab, are we the only ones on this boat and week 9 delivery?

Yeah I saw it was approaching Brunswick, still on schedule for Thursday arrival in Charleston. I do think we are the only ones on here that are on the Horizon Highway. Due to the timing of the ships and me having to push my PCD back a week from the first available PCD date I was given I feel like I will be getting my car the same time as some of the week 12 people, haha.

At this point I don't mind really as I am trying to finalize the sale of my current car this week so the extra time is helping me out. Thankfully I have my financing all figured out now so I just need to take care of the dealer documents to finish the purchase in the next week or two (whenever they send it).

Called today and car cleared VPC and is scheduled for a carrier tomorrow. Fingers crossed everything should be in line for pickup next week. I also FedEx'd my signed paperwork to the dealership. They are a little behind, BMW PDC says they want the sign off a week before pickup. I'm still working on purchasing the vehicle

Awesome to hear Mr 2. I was going to call tomorrow to check if mine has cleared VPC as well. Good luck with finalizing the purchase, I still need to do that. I am still waiting on my current car sale to be finished but thankfully the last of the paperwork for that should arrive tomorrow.

Congrats! Enjoy the experience. You'll learn more about your new M2 than any dealer experience could provide. And, the drive home gives a chance to play with all the buttons and really bond with the car. It was an awesome experience and met some really nice people. Enjoy PCD!!

I am going to check in tomorrow. Yesterday it was still waiting for assignment to a transport but the car had finished VPC. The online tracking still says I am at finishing touches. maybe they fast tracked your car due to your PCD date being so close.

Got my paperwork to finalize the purchase today. Looking through the numbers everything came out to be $1500 too high...

I am not happy, waiting on word from the dealer. Hope they just have to overnight a revised copy but I don't have much time left.
