Anyone have a week 9 build?

Mine was scheduled to complete production on 3/4/17 but I've called the BMW genius line and my status is still 150. As a result I think my production date will be a little delayed.

My PDC delivery is scheduled for 4/26/17. So I should have sufficient time even if there is a little delay.

Any one week 9 still a status of 150?

I am technically a week 10 build but my production was moved up and is scheduled to finish on March 4th as well. I am still status 150 last I checked but that was over a week ago.

Assuming no big delays In think your PCD date should be fine. I couldn't get a date that early so I am doing my PCD on May 8th.

Actually just decided to call the Genius hotline after I responded to the original post. My car is further along than I expected, it has finished production and is awaiting transportation to the port, so looks like I am at status 182.

I hope your car hits status 155 soon.

Called today, car hit status 155, maybe we'll be on the same boat. I'm heading to east coast too =D

week 9 build...sort of.

my local dealer had a week 9 allocation. with no takers they spec'd a dealer stock build for delivery. i got offered the car, with the caveat, that it had already went into production (status 150). luckily it was optioned what i wanted, except with the added apple carplay. LBB color.

i was able to delete the accessories, since they are port installed options. added black grills, black side-gills, and wanted the M-Perf spoiler (but dealer said they are back-ordered)

i'm still waffling on the MPE tho. It's an expensive option @ nearly $4500 with carbon tips. I've got a few weeks to decide.

I assume delivery will be mid-april.

If you're wanting to add the MPE besides what you have listed, it's cheaper to order the M Performance Package which will include the black kidney grills, CF rear spoiler, MPE w/tip for $5,100.

I just checked in with BMW Genius and my car arrived at the docks at Bremerhaven on March 8th. Any other week 9 people at the dock as well?

Congratulations, looks like you're almost 2 weeks ahead especially if it leaves in the next few days. My week 7 just left Bremerhaven on 03/08 via Michigan Highway to Galveston port of call. Best!

Thanks! It is funny too since mine was technically supposed to be a week 10 build. Not that being early helps me unless I can get my PCD date moved up, which is doubtful. The car might be sitting there for a while if it keeps going at this pace.

I just called and checked mine is also at Bremerhaven waiting for a boat. We will probably get on the same boat since we are both headed to South Carolina for PDC.

he said i could make changes until the car hit US shores. i assumed the above accessories are installed at the VPC, prior to dealer delivery.

Black side gills were $230, and the MPerf Pkg was $5100

mine is status 193 for two days so far.
