M2 European Delivery Scheduled for June 6th

Hello everyone,

I am beyond excited! My delivery date has been scheduled for the 6th of June. My flight has been booked already. If anyone has done ED before, please give me some great routes. I'm looking to stay between Monaco, Florence, Venice, Milan, then back to Munich for my 1200 mile service. Then rip it in the autobahn on my way to the "Gring". I look forward to your feed back gentlemen.

There are some great ED stories on this forum, suggest you review as many as you can as there are so many options, I suggest you stay off the motorway until you get back to Germany and even then, the romantic road or the Weinstraße (wine road) are great drives, not fully of twisty turns but relaxing and enjoyable

///M2NYC15 Congrats on the ED! Just did my writeup (http://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1384580). We drove 2,700km in a circle through Germany, France, Switzerland, Italy, and Austria (route below). Let me know if you have any questions. It was an awesome experience!

You schedule your ED date after you get your allocation. I got a March allocation (found out in Jan-Mar batch in Dec) and was able to request end of April delivery. If they keep up the allocation cycles, I'd say next year Q1 you want to get your allocation for Q2 delivery.

I have been on the list since last year Feb.

I received my allocation in March and was told my M2 will be in production for May and June ED.

You didn't get a chance to go to Nurburgring?

lol disregard. I just saw the experience. You really lived it up. I will be going through Monaco, Florence, Rome and Venice. Then back to Munich to do my 1,200 run in service then off to Autobahn and the Nurburgring.
