Aftermarket Springs on OEM Shocks Track Setup
Anyone running stiffer slightly lower aftermarket springs on their OEM shocks for track duty? I have a dedicated track car so don't feel like throwing $$$ into some JRZ or other coilovers for the M2.
Thinking about a simple setup with camber plates, springs, brakes. Any thoughts as to which aftermarket spring to go with for minimal lowering (good shock travel) and a stiffer rate that the stock shock valving can still handle? Lastly do F80/F82 springs fit directly on a M2? |

I called Swift, they don't have a Spec R spring for the M2 and told me M3/M4 springs don't fit.
H&R has a sport spring but they won't disclose the rates but said it's 'for a daily driver setup' which tells me it's probably barely stiffer than stock and just for lowering the car. Any other ideas? Are all you track guys jumping straight to a full aftermarket coilover? |

How about an old school spring kit where you could swap to whatever spring you want?

I ended up not changing springs, there were no good motorsport oriented options in my opinion so I'll stay stock until I decide to do a full coilover
