I went to pick up my M2 straight from the dealer (still on summer tyres) in this weather and had zero issues... I'm now waiting for Michelin Alpin wintertyres and will drive my M2 in any weather unless it is a snow storm/blizzard... It's a modern BMW M that is designed for daily driving and not a classic Ferrari F40.

I was not my first choice, but I needed to pick up the car... Because that was the only moment I had time in my schedule and I drove very slowly....

This is so funny. The thread was meant as a poke at the

1. Driving in the Rain,
2. Driving in the Snow,
3. Winterize the M2,
4. No Frame on windows, and
5. Two Button Presses to get to Sport Plus Crowd.

I have 245/40R18 Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D's on BBS XA rims. I didn't expect anything but excellent winter driving with this car. I was actually happy to find it cased in ice and having no problem opening the doors because I thought it was very funny to read the other thread and if I was not able to open the doors I would have added to that thread.

(I have had trouble with my prior M3 '97 and A4 Cab '08 in the winter with ice on the windows and did have to let each car warm up before the windows would go all the way up and into the seal/slot properly, but it was not such a big deal that I would bleed about it on line.)

So the part I forgot to post.....

"I pushed the button twice to get to sport plus and spun the snows on the ice and the car stayed dead straight LOL..."
