How much timing is too much timing?
Pure stage 2 turbo E85 here. My max power tune runs at about 22.5psi and 17.5-18* of timing at redline. Is this too aggressive? Should I have my tuner lower it? Not looking to send a piston to the moon lol.
Thanks in advance! |

Seems like the whole point of having a tuner you have trust and confidence in is not having to figure this out yourself.
Shouldn’t they know the answer to this? Isn’t that what you’re paying him to know? |

I agree, but I'm hearing mixed things. I also blew a turbo already, so I'm extra cautious.

They were responsive via email even prior to doing business with them which I thought was impressive. May be worth a shot. |

It depends on your boost; you can be a lot more aggressive with ignition timing if you are not too aggressive with boost.
Are you getting any timing corrections? If not, then you are good.
