LBB always looks beautiful - nice mods: I like the spoiler, its a lot different in shape to the ones I've otherwise seen
If you like the look of the wrap on your door handles, a further option could be the IND carbon fiber side grill that could replace the flat black backing plate of the side grill ... although I couldn't find it when I went looking on their website (I thought I saw a post somewhere here about it). I didn't see any clear pix of the upgrades on the mirrors ... was curious to see what they looked like. Great job - thanks for sharing Last edited by V.Smurf; 11-02-2017 at 09:05 PM.. I considered the CF front grilles but they look kind of busy in pictures I think because of the nature of an actual grille having a lot of detail already. The CF side grill didn't have enough pictures so I couldn't really tell if I liked the look or not. I knew gloss black for the the front and side grilles would look fine though and were cheaper so I went with that. If I knew I would like both in CF I would have paid the extra cost, but didn't want to take the chance because I just was not sure. Good catch on the reflection. Updated, but now you have to delete your reference to my original image. I will take a picture of the mirrors for you shortly. |

I get you on the part about not being sure Quote:
I love folks sharing their updates - I really enjoying reading about them. Thanks again - great looking car (in my humble, but biased, opinion). |

I had chrome on everything for about a year with the only "mod" being the M colors on the kidney grille. I think chrome looks good on LBB but I wanted the car to look a bit meaner. I don't live someplace where I need a winter setup but if I did I thought it would be cool to do like a chrome wheel and chrome accents in winter and black in the summer. Anyway the mirror caps are not quite the right shape but the price was right. After the M2 Competition comes out I will reevaluate the mirror situation. Want top get rid of that orange marker now... |

I took my car up to 5000 feet on its summer tyres and ended up driving in -3°C in freezing fog on wet roads and hairpin bends. The tyres coped perfectly well with careful driving and I was very surprised to be able to manoeuvre with no slippage on a snowy car park.
