I did notice them when they showed that car and thought they looked extra stupid on that car as well.

They appear to be an afterthought on the F82 M4.

I like the canards and the rear roof spoiler. Not a fan of much else. Seems I'm in the minority on this one though.

My perception of ACS is that they stubbornly forge ahead with certain design aesthetics that are not that well received in the US market and they really don't seem to care. Maybe it's because of their established performance tuning, motorsport pedigree and BMW history in Europe that they see no need to change, I don't know.
