What do you use to clean the alcantara?
Has anyone used this Sonax upholstery and alcantara cleaner? I am looking for a good cleaner on the interior for the alcantara.

Personally, I vacuum lightly, then use a high quality microfiber or microfiber covered sponge spritzed with Griot's interior cleaner. Always clean and soft and there is no after affects.

I use the Sonax Alcantara cleaner and it works great. The other option would be Dr Beasley's. They have a cleaner and protectant that will bead any liquids upon contact of the fabric.

Chemical Guys recommended cleaning and protection for Alcantara:
Cleaner- Nonsense (wipe on with microfiber towel) Protection- Fabric Guard Interior Protector Shield (UV and stain protection) I'd think protection is critical to avoid stains and less headaches in the future. A Nubuck eraser should help with those quick cleanups and restoring the feel. There is a CG YouTube tutorial. |

Thank you all. I think I am going to go with the Sonax and Dr.Beasley's protection. I was debating on Dr. Beasley's cleaner too, but it is a spray. I think the foam is better, so it won't soak in.

Hey guys just want to throw this out there. I had a minor coffee spill this morning and got a little bit on the shifter boot. Not wanting to wait for any products to arrive, I used my Jason Markk shoe cleaner http://jasonmarkk.com (with the suede brush) and it worked beautifully.
I also did a quick pass on the steering wheel as the leather is starting to develop a slight sheen from use. Worked nicely for that too. Last edited by M2OG; 05-14-2017 at 03:34 PM.. |

What do you guys think of Adam's?
http://adamspolishes.com/shop/interi...-care-kit.html Is this for more "shiny" leather seats? |
