New M2 Owner

I took delivery one week ago. Drove down from SF to LA to pick the car up last Friday during torrential rain. Drove back up the coast and spent the weekend in Carmel/Big Sur. Scott Smith and the Rusnak crew were awesome!

My impressions so far are very favorable. I like the torque and power delivery. My last car was a 981 Boxster S which was more of a high rev screamer.

Love the way the car handles. I think I'll enjoy it more once I learn its personality. I found myself entering a few familiar corners at the same speeds I would in my Porsche and had a couple of "oh $%^&" moments.

The car definitely gets a lot of attention. I am really happy with my decision. Here are a few pictures from Half Moon Bay:

Grats on the M2. I also have a LBB one in SF. So far the only other M2 I have seen here has been a white one. I flew down to Irvine to pick it up and drove it back to SF in jan, luckily it wasn't raining for me on the drive back, but on the 5 a tow truck kicked up a rock that hit my window

Scott is the man!

It came with the black kidneys. I did not opt for any extras, including warranty. I live within a 10 minute walk from my office in SF, so I put very few miles on my car.

Thinking about going with one of the Dinan power packages with exhaust.

Best bang for the buck is the Dinan tune...

Just picked up my 2016 LBB M2 on Wednesday. Traded a 2014 370Z with intake, exhaust, and a tune making 313hp at the wheels. Loved the car but it doesn't compare to the M2. Waited all my life for an M. The car is stock. The sound is incredible and the looks are incredible. So excited can't wait to mod it.
I love it most because you don't see many around me and the looks u get are awesome. Look forward to many years of good fun with it!
