Cheap Amp Fix?

Well a week in and I have the apparently well known amp crackle pop issue. This comes after I had the dealer tint the car before pickup. Likely no recourse there on the used car purchase. So the question is short of ordering a Bavarian specialty replacement amp is it possible to just grab an amp from a store like Best Buy and hook it up and eliminate the crackle?

No you need one designed specifically for the car because once removed you're going to have issues with the electronics

There are a couple aftermarket solutions for BMW amp replacements

Here's an example… https://www.bavsound.com

Might as well turn it into an opportunity

Watch the for sale forums I've seen people sell the amps when they decide to get rid of their car

I would go back top the tint company. Lots of people have had their amps blown during tinting. Water gets on the amp during tinting.

Here is just one of the threads: https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...hlight=Tinting
