Stage 1 Tuning 447BHP - Ross Sport / Tuningtech FS

Quick vid of our results with stage 1 mods and tuning over in the UK.

Ive been working with Frank Smith from Tuning Tech FS , after spending hours going through the data I have to say I'm very impressed with the results, the car is crisp, strong, but most importantly safe.

Vid below, sorry I'm not much of a blogger :

Yes we will be acting as TTFS agent over here, so can get custom files written & flashed via OBD no problem.
Having experienced a couple of "tunes" I would advise anyone to research what you are getting, they are all very different!

Currently working on Stage 1.5 which will optimise the stock turbo, with the aid of TTFS's upgrade high pressure fuel pump.

In most cases out flywheel power is the same as you WHP. Dont ask me why! Ive seen it many times when the same spec makes the same numbers we call FWHP, yours is WHP. Based on what Frank has said similar cars have made 440-450WHP on his dyno.

Nice to see some UK results on the M2 as its always diffcult to gauge american dynojet to a DD or the likes over here.

Out of interst Ross what was the boost figure in psi and also did power hold on to redline or did it start to drop off after 6000rpm?

It would be nice to see some 62-124mph times for your setup if you have a vbox handy? Looking forward to seeing the stage 1.5 results

Numbers aside, looking at power band, pretty nice results!

Can you flash BM3 OTS 93OCT map and run back to back dyno to compare? Control the environment and IAT condition carefully, making sure it's a proper comparison.

LOL you have 99 RON, which equates to 93 AKI so yeah he will put 93 octane in a UK M2.

Hi Ross

Good job on the m2 dyno.

Can you pm a ballpark for stage 1.5 supply / fit kit above.

Cheers

AA graphs look great! Are you going to be doing the install on that car? Have you sold any pumps which have already been installed and tested? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Yes we will. And one of the customers posted on IG the other day after getting the pump installed and there is another forum member that has it in a 335xi and GT Peace has it in their 335i shop car too.

Currently logging and making steady improvements with the single TTFS HPFP on the stock turbo, our fuel is quite different to the stuff on USA west coast so we are taking gradual and safe steps to the final goal of maximising the stock turbo. Up to ~460bhp at the moment with another 15-20 to come.

Good gains in the mid range already for the extra boost.
