2017's are far superior - manufactured and purchased before Trump was president. 2018s will be cursed.

I'm getting a MY18. You should add an option for I don't care just give me one. I told my CA after I placed my order that if he had anything come in with a 6MT I'd take it. Any color, options, etc. as long as it was msrp.

Can't vote because these aren't the correct questions. Any M2 is better than no M2. I own a Pre-Lci M2 and I am happy to have it over the LCI version because I don't care for the new shape of the halos on the LCI cars. Having said that if I had no M2 I would not allow that to keep me from buying a LCI car.

How about "I ordered a pre-LCI but will get a post-LCI"

How about a third choice: I bought an M2 and got delivered what was produced at the time... Don't care about LCI / pre-LCI

I ordered my car January 2017, knowing a long waiting time is expected.
All I hoped for was to not be the bubble boy getting the last pre-lci one day before production switch. I now got a week 34 LCI production and happy with it. Having that said, if I had the choice of getting my personal spec car back in January I could not care less about LCI or not. |

I ordered in January and didn't give a hoot about getting a 2017 or 2018?
I just got lucky that I get the same price as when I ordered in January, giving me effectively 13% off MSRP.. |

I bought a 2017 last month knowing that LCI was coming. The tweaks they applied to the 2018 weren't enough for me to hold off because I want the car NOW.
My advice - use the coming 2018 to press for a discount on any remaining inventory on lots. And yes - there is inventory out there. I found three cars in 48 hours when I searched last month. Ended up in NOLA for my purchase and got a $4K discount (including the USAA) |

I'd prob opt for the 2018 over 2017 due to better gauge illumination, and perhaps other unknown hardware component updates worth worthing another couple of months for only. However, the changes for headlights and taillights, trim bits, and touch screen are just not compelling enough.

How about 'I have an M2 and will swap it for a CS'?
Or 'I had an M2, swapped it for a CS and will swap that for a GTS'? |

Clearly the 2016 models are the best as they are the FIRST......and of course White is the best color.
These polls are silly, so my response was equally silly! Mike

Exactly that, I actually waited for LCI to be officially announced to pressure dealers with stock on a greater discount, which got me 12k€ of the retail price in the end (M2 starts at 81k € here XD) |
