These scams exist because people like you are patient and sometimes even fall for it. It's SO OBVIOUS it's a scam.

1) No one talks like that
2) Anyone saying "agent" is a fucking scammer, case closed
3) Not negotiating price = Red Flag
4) Not meeting in person, scam
5) Trying to add extra money = Scam
6) Any English that sounds too proper and/or has "sir" and shit = scam
7) The world "kindly" = scam, for sure.
8) You're an idiot for even entertaining this shit.

My posts on Craiglist are...In person, cash only and I'll be packing heat, so don't be stupid.

Lol this is lame guys. This was new back in 2009 lol. It's now a new level on craigslist. They offer services, like detailing, mobile mechanic, painting and dent removal etc. They even come to you in person and look legit and talk like they know what they are doing. However, they will ask you money in advance to purchase materials, paint, parts etc. Once you give them money - they are gone for good. Some may even take your car key (if you gave it to them) with them and you'll never see it again
This is current trend - search for your local craigslist and you'll find tons of adds like that. They all never list any address - just a phone number and pics of "their work" they post are fake
