I have just bought VF103s and Vorsteiner reps advised me they now use a 9 front for the M2s as opposed to the 9.5. They explained that its a better fit overall and works perfectly with a 245 or 255 tyre. The 9.5 still works, but the cars they have used needed a bit of camber up front to keep them flush. I'm not mucking around with suspension / camber mods so I opted for 19x9 ET22 and 19x10.5 ET34 sizing front and rear with 255 tyre front and 285 tyre rear. ETA any day |

Hi Daniel, finally fitted my VF103s and... they stick out past the wheel arch by 10mm... which is illegal where i live in Australia... 😟 offset is 35, which vorsteiner say is correct...
Dealer who advised me to use 285 wide tyres now suggesting 275s. And maybe 1 degree camber. 275s will stretch the tyre and the tyre should be (just) inside the guard. Technically rim still illegal though... and a camber change means "modifications to suspension " and insurance becomes a nightmare, and tyre wear will be terrible. Your car is obviously lowered but how did the wheel with same offset not extend past the wheel arch? Did you machine 3-4mm off the back of the wheel boss? Love your advice mate |

My car now is not as lowered as the pictures. The wheel it's a little out of the car but I have to mesure it. Vorsteiner have a vff-103 with the factory rear settings. I'm running stock tyres. The m2 have a lot of camber from factory I wouldn't play with it... |

For the record, the wheel supplier was given the same info I was and is being really good about it and has offered me a full refund... However, I have decided to fit the wheels and take them to a local wheel specialist for an alignment. Given all the people on the internets saying it fits perfectly for them I suspect my factory alignment might be out a tad. I'll check that and then decide whether I go back to 275s... If a correct alignment brings the top of tyre in 3-4mm i think it will be ok - and 275s would then definitely bring the tyres well within the top of guard... Thanks for all the comments and advice! |

My wheels are pretty much flush on my lowered car (aligned to factory spec) and I have a slightly more conservative fitment than what you have so it will be hard to get them to fit inside the fenders without lowering but with a bit of camber and narrower tires you should get quite close at least. This is also the reason I went with the M Performance suspension, it comes with papers to be OEM suspension so its perfectly legal for us to use. You will probably get away with other parts too here but if they are picky they can force you to change it back. |
