Even though I got mine re-aligned after the drop, it still appears from eyeballing it that I've got more camber than in your pictures, so that's probably true.

Put on 10mm Turner Motorsports all around..
Rear from the top, tried to snap same angle, this gives an idea of the push..

But below some reasons of why I went with Turner rather than Burger and why 10mm all around rather than 10/12. 1. The topic going on about how you need to pick a spacer that accommodates the OEM hub. It had me reading for a couple days and Turner has extensive info online I wanted to go with their offering. - http://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1328594 2. Regarding the 10/10 vs 10/12 I was already thinking about a track wheel setup which was square and although, its best if the specs on the rims fit perfect, if I had the need of using the spacers with the track rims I would rather have 10 all around to keep it squared. 3. Fellow board member offered these recently basically new just one had been placed on the car for fitment but not used. Seeing them pop up was like the decisions point. I am happy with the look and happy with how they feel, used a while Sunday, re-torqued and was doing 70-80 at highway and no vibrations or issues at all.

Did any of you guys who have lowered on eibachs get an alignment done after? The shop that installed my springs said it shouldn't be needed..

You need to remove front components, I believe an alignment everytime you do some major suspension work is piece of mind.

Regardless you want to align as soon as possible to avoid running the car out of alignment and wear tires unevenly.

Absolutely. Shop that did the springs had an alignment set-up as well. I would not do this without a subsequent alignment asap. |

Good find! Very helpful for anyone pondering this setup. Tbh though, I thought it would look lower based on some still pics I've seen around here. Perhaps some settling to occur still...

Surprised the shop that did my install said it probably wouldn't be necessary. At any rate, got one scheduled.

Eibach btw. EDIT- Ended up ordering them from Germany (ebay). $341 all in. Hopefully no surprises lol. Interestingly, they will not ship to the USA...not exactly sure why. Last edited by Dabozo; 02-28-2017 at 09:05 AM.. |
