6MT install
Here's the 6MT installation. Interestingly the clutch pedal is plastic, as is the accelerator pedal, while the brake pedal is steel.
Installation was straight forward. Tight clearance behind the brake pedal making it a challenge to wrench the nuts. The do not look crooked to my eyes. |

Found this official BMW pdf, same as what everyone says. It gives you drill bit sizes. 4.5mm and 2.8mm.

That has to be the reason the car goes into neutral when I hit the brake pedal.

Fixed, my OCD would not let me end the day without the fix. Thanks for the heads up.

I installed mine today. All went well, even drilled through the brake pedal with no problem. the PROBLEM was one of the holes was way off. I think when I marked them the rubber piece was a little twisted. I'd suggest putting the metal piece on as well as the rubber piece to ensure it's in the exact right place. I marked my holes with a paint marker. That seemed to work well.
That one nylock nut on the brake pedal is a pain to get to. I ended up jamming a small flathead screwdriver in between the flat on the nut and side edge of the pedal, wedging the nut in place. After that tightening was no sweat. Well, it was 95 in the garage, so sweat was involved. I like these. It's the first thing I've changed on the car in a while. Can't leave well enough alone, it seems.

Sorry asking.
But why doesn´t it come in the diagrams as available to the M2? Also I read in the link... https://www.bimmerworld.com/BMW-Inte...MaAjTvEALw_wcB "For automatic transmission BMWs. (Not for SMG/DCT sequential manual transmissions)" Please confirm me. I would like to order the correct set. My M2 is a Competition from late 2019 (register 2020) Thank you guys. Flavio |

How do you distinguish which SS pedal is for clutch and brake? Can they fit either way?
