Right, that's why I said I don't know what that would translate to in US or CAD.

Around $67,500 would be nice for the TTRS. Probably will just have a few options to add to that price anyway. Coincidentally, that is about starting price for the 718 Cayman S, but obviously the Audi will come with a lot more standard. And although I love my RWD cars, I wouldn't mind having quattro for the east coast weather as well as some great launches. I have a deposit for the M2 right now, but still excited to see how the RS3 and TTRS turn out as my other options.

I really am liking the TT-S and wonder if TT-RS is even necessary. Sounds pretty decent from vids ive seen for a 4 cylinder. After having a M4, I sometimes wonder how much power and rawness is required for a non track car person like myself.

Am looking forward to this car! Was planning on moving to a Porsche Boxster or Cayman S but not a fan of the flat 4... However in Australia... Old ttrs plus started at 140k... It's a hell of a price tag considering m3 can be had for less, but it's completely different cars. Boxster s and Cayman s is north of 150k with a few options... So will have to drive it to see if it's worth it

Plus, I actually think it looks better than the TTRS. The front of the TTRS is really, really good, but I can never get into the rest of its looks. And I am more of a sport car/coupe fan compared to sedans.. But I am not ruling out the TTRS though.. |

Has anyone posted this video yet? Sounds awesome!! Still not crazy on the exterior but the interior is nice... as long as you only seat stuffed toys in the back.

I actually tested a TTS while waiting for an M2 allocation. Since no dealer would ensure I would get one I was still looking for other cars in case I didn't land the M2. I liked the TTS a lot but it would have felt so much better with at least 50 more hp.. As soon as I talked to the dealer about modding they said it would void all warranty.. Considered waiting for the TTRS but nobody could give me a solid Release date or price, just an estimated 75K and no Manual Shifter.. Glad the M2 did land..

The TTRS looks amazing. And I love Audi interiors. It'll be a fantastic car when it hits the shores.
That said, I'm a huge fan of RWD and I don't know that the RS will be quite as playful as the M2, even if it's objectively more capable. Also, I have kids and the M2 has a reasonable back seat. Made the M2 palatable to my awesome wife. : )

TT is one of few cars that I think should be longer.
It has the beautiful front end and a rear that looks like cut by someone from above in a 60 degree angle.

I think so too... Did you see the 4dr concept? that was sweet.. I'd have bought that in a heartbeat, but looks like it won't be produced. I like the TT, and the front looks great, but its like they kept the old back end and put on a fresh face. Just can't warm to it overall.

I really like the look of the TT-RS - better than the RS3 in the looks department.
And that 5 cylinder....
