These seats are my old ones out of my Dakar Yellow car, where did you find them?

I purchased them a while back from the guy that bought it and parted it out. They were in an E90 for a while and now the M2. If the euro GTS seats can't be had for a somewhat reasonable price, they'll probably go into it when it arrives as well. I had the seats stripped and repainted a matte black, hope you don't mind. the goldish flake didn't do much for me but the yellow stitching didn't bother me enough to have redone. They're still in excellent shape btw

The most "hardcore" would be bucket seats at front, removed the back seats and install rolling cage. That will be my ultimate M2! anyway doubted that I will do it... too costly and probably will affect the resale value!

Seeing this thread has revived my interest in the M2. Glad to know the Performance seats can be transfered over from my e92.

OP -- Any chance you can post a wiring diagram or pictures of the rewired harness?

Lol. That would be fun. BMW sold them for $3299 each.

FYI -- Because this thread seems to have some bad info, the BMW Performance Seats have been discontinued and are no longer available (in the US or EU). The seats for sale on IND's site are not in stock. IND sold their last pair in 2015. Ask me how I know.

May have a set of M Performance seats for sale in the near future. Going to some fixed seats and 6 points in the coming weeks to accommodate local track regulations for next year. Already have the seats actually, just need to make the time to swap them once the harnesses arrive Friday.

question do they make your seating position lower then the stock seats?

I feel the stock ones are quit high off the ground and I notice that the M3/4's are lower to the ground (or can be adjusted lower)

can you PM me your seats

They are for show,$2000 seats for $500. I do not race aside from drag from time to time...But the seats aren't FIA approved...They are comfortable ( More than stock in my opinon), They look great, and they are 17 lbs each.

But my point was the adapters, mounts and hardware are new, work w the recaros and im selliing for less than i paid, throw the seats out if u want LOL

I have exactually those seats mounted in my 135i and I want to swap them into my m235. How do you mean by swapping the pins?
Did you cut the wires and the yellow connector and mount them to the recaro seats?

Im thinking about buying new wire harness:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/OEM-BMW-1...wAAOSwdfJdptHz

What do you think about that?
Do you have any pictures underneath your seats so that I can se how you did??

Those are factory seat harnesses which won't do you any good. I no longer have that wiring info or pictures of the changes on the seat connections. I took the connector housing from the factory M2 seat and transferred the wires from the E series seat harness into the correct wire locations based on a visual reference looking at the wire locations and confirmed using the factory wiring diagrams. Took a little guess and check method but it wasn't too bad. I recall there's an extra ground in the passenger seat that was needed to make the seat module power up correctly and seat heating to work. Without it you'll get every warning possible. I just spilled into the existing ground and added the second wire.
