Congratulations! My car is also being built week 9 but I was told late May delivery for Southern California.

SoCal - when I went to a Newport Beach dealer last year they had 50 people on their list when I was 10th at my dealer in CT. I hope you're in at MSRP. I'm a bit hesitant about getting a car this late in the model year, but I know I'll love it once I get it.

After a lot of searching I was able to find a dealership in SoCal willing to sell me the car at MSRP, however the dealerships closest to me are still asking for at least 5K over which I don't quite understand at this point in the life cycle of the vehicle. I do however share your train of thought in terms of taking delivery of a MY 17 when the MY18 cars are only several months away.

I actually spoke to BMW genius a few weeks ago and they specified a week 9 build. I hope it doesn't change. Did they tell you why they moved you?
