TPM issue

Anyone else having problems with their MY2017 or 16 M2's TPM?

Mine's been showing reset with red light. I checked tire pressure on all 4 tires, reset reset and more reset....driving me crazy...barely put on 1k miles on this baby...contemplating taking it in to the dealer...

Not even available in Canada We only get the one that works by comparing tire rotation.

Are you checking pressure hot or cold?

Could be that if you're checking the pressures hot, when the tires cool down, they would show a lower psi.

Has it occurred to you that you may have a slow leak in that tire?

Yes, the driver rear tire dropped to 25psi after cool down...

a tech put the vehicle on a lift and inspected all 4 tires, no nail or leak.
Even replaced the the valve stem on the rear driver tire that keeps showing less PSI and lower temp then the rest...

Was hoping to see if any other M2 owners might be experiencing the same as I am....
Thank you all for your inputs.

I have not experienced this, but as you probably know the 25 is 10 PSI low when cold as ND2002 said. You need to fill them all while cold, which means driving at max only a mile or two before you fill, or you have to let the tires cool before filling which takes awhile. Check it with a good gauge to, those sensors can be off a pound or so. IF you have done this or know this sorry, just trying to help. By the way when you get to the bottom of this, let us know what the issue was, thanks for posting.

FWIW, my driver rear tire also shows slightly lower temp than my passenger rear (1-2deg). Pressure differential, however, has never been more than 1psi if that.

I'm not so sure. I bought my snows and tirerack sold me sensors. I was not sure if the car uses them or not, TR said yes. I set the tire pressure at 37 and the car logged 37...... I raised it to 39.....car logged 39.

I'm confused...

Mike - I assume your car is a U.S. spec car, since you are in NY?

gmzanatta is right - Canadian spec cars do not use sensors at each wheel - you can tell based on whether the valve stem is metal (rigid) or rubber. Candian M2s have the rubber valve stems, hence no TPMS sensors mounted within the wheel.
