You are correct,the $2500 loyalty discount only applies to the finance rate when you are using BMW financial.You don't get $2500 off the price of the car,if you are purchasing the car.They give you a reduction in the interest rate if you are using BMW financial.I just confirmed this with my SA today.At least BMW Canada is offering an additional discount on top of what you can get from your dealer,if you are already leasing or financing your BMW.

id be really curious to know if anyone could haggle down the price of the car.. i think there may be a slight chance for someone outside of the city, but then again if its a small dealership maybe they wont even get an allocation ..i didnt push for anything off because if i was the sales rep i would just make some story up and sell the allocation to the next person in line who doesnt take out of the small margin

With regard to M2 sales, demand exceeding supply for now, pretty clear Dealer SA's and SM's have been told to get full margin on these cars.

If there's any haggling room, it's with regard to trade value, or maybe on M Performance parts. If you've bought at the Dealership before, you'll get a Loyalty discount. But that's about it.

In my case, I wasn't expecting much, or anything, off the MSRP, and didn't get any.

Might be a different story for those willing to wait until the second production run. Except I think the car will garner such strong reviews this spring that the demand will continue to be very strong...

I have been looking and asking around but haven't had much luck. Seems like I'm going to have to wait till next week when I go to NAIAS in Detroit.

Still have not seen the car or LBB on any bmw for that matter, kind of excited.

id lol if the show car wasnt LBB enjoy the show, do you think the M2 will be on the floor where you can go inside the car? hopefully its not up on stage/platform

It was quite a disappointment last year when I went to the Toronto auto show specifically to see the X6M in long beach blue.I figured since every auto show in the states was showing the car in LBB,that it would be there,but it was in a different color.I would be very surprised if they showed a different color,other than LBB at the auto shows for the M2.

People should just call there SA at there dealer and get them to do a search for a LBB X5M or X6M in there city.That is what I did back in June,when I really wanted to see the color.You really do need to see the color in person,most pics don't show what the color really looks like IMO.

Thanks. It has to be on the floor, the 1M was on the floor. I mean I like the car a lot just like most of us here, but it isn't a Ferrari to be on a platform lol

My (soon-to-be) dealership in Vancouver received an X5M in LBB a few weeks after I put down my deposit (April). I wasn't impressed at all... it actually solidified my decision to get BSM. I changed my mind a few months later when I saw the LBB M2 on Periscope. Something about that greenish tinge works well on the M2 but not the XxM models.

No... as of last week the dealers can't even see the M2 on the order screen... although dealers are taking "orders"

thanks for the tip, for those interested it is still there parked outside by the entrance

for those ordering LBB i strongly recommend going to take a look at the colour in person as it differs from most pics
