M Mirrors
I know there are other threads with this subject. But since, if I understand correctly the M2 Comp mirrors won't fit "Old" M2 I want the best looking third party carbon M Mirror covers. Can you give some advice? And pictures please.

Mirror covers will be also different and will not fit the cover as plug and play. If you want the M2C side mirror, you will have to buy the entire side mirror set and retrofit them. |

It needs more than cover to fit M2C mirror to M2 original. But it's still a bolt on replacement. Way easier than fitting M3/4 mirrors which we've done many, where you have to fabricate the mounting parts.

As SeanWRT mentioned, F8X M3/M4 mirror will require some fabrication in order to fit the side mirror to M2. However, M2C side mirrors are pretty much plug and play. Just have to remove the interior door panel to disconnect and remove wires to pull the stock one out, then you can fit M2C side mirrors. No need of fabrication. Mounting is the same, just the shape of the mirror shell is different from current M2. |

If you just wish to change the cover that fits M2, you would have to find a aftermarket cover like Autoid/ AutoTecknic, etc. |

I've had the misfortune of having to replace a standard M2 mirror and it comes in three (3) parts, the body, the back cover, and the mirror itself. I've not checked RealOEM but do we have the mirror part numbers from the M2C?
With only a few of them on the street just yet, I'm wondering about parts availability?
