They checked the inventory in Germany and there are many in stock so they ordered them for me. Delivery is to be in 2 weeks, no more than 3 weeks.

Here is what I ordered using part numbers provided here.
Front 82mm - 51-14-8-087-189 - $40.12
Rear 74mm - 51-11-7-886-545 - $39.78

You can call Ryan at 402-479-7591 and he will help you. If you want to order them online you can visit their Webstore for OE BMW and Mercedes Benz parts at www.bmwdirectparts.com

**This BMW center has won the BMW CCA top Regional Dealership award several times and offers a cost plus 10% discount on most all parts. These Roundels show as 20.40% off list. They will ship and match/beat any OE BMW dealer price. I'm not affiliated other than I buy a lot of parts, and some cars, from them.
October 2022 update ~

-189 is out of stock at bmwdirectparts.com (they can only order from Germany), so I ordered -188 for the hood.

-196 is in stock but you can also order -545 for the trunk, as to_riffic pointed out.

The center caps are aftermarket/ebay only, which pains me, but we'll see how the quality is.

Thanks for all the useful info in this thread!

I used 51148087188 and 51148087196 - no problems and the pins/alignment holes were the exact same as the OEM ones! Only thing is that the rear will come with adhesive on the back (OEM does not use adhesive). Will take some better pics after a wash tomorrow!

Not a fan of those white mirror caps. Other than that your M2 looks great.

Lol I have blue ones. They're just off right now while I decide whether or not to PPF them or replace them with CF

While I wait for my ebay center caps to arrive (end of November), I did some searching online to find alternative options...

First is Bimmer Plug, which lists center caps that appear to be OEM (based on the pricing), but the pictures shown (when zooming in) actually have the part # for the 56mm variant. I didn't think BMW made OEM 68mm center caps. I'll probably order these if they are in fact OEM.
https://bimmerplug.com/products/bmw-...43492186063099

Next is Amazon. These arrived yesterday for $30 and same day delivery. I'll very likely return them, but wanted to check out the quality. For being replicas, I found it surprising the back of the hood and trunk roundels have the BMW stamp. The center caps show as being made in Italy and out of the entire kit, are not terrible quality. They fit nicely. Even though this listing is for an entire set, I was mainly interested in the center caps. The steering wheel roundel is not viable at all - very poor quality, like thin aluminum, as shown by bends in the edging in the picture below. The other roundels appear to be of decent quality and finish.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09Y44ZMBL...t_details&th=1

Finally, eBay, which is where I ordered center caps:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/15509515900...3ABFBMrq7j1_tg

Overall, I'm not sure I'll install any of these 50th Anniversary roundels. I do like the pictures I've seen online, but I'm not convinced they will look better on my car than the OEM roundels. Anyways, the OEM trunk and hood roundels arrive tomorrow, so I'll compare quality-wise to the Amazon set.

I found the replicas different to the OEM ones.
The thickness of the stripes and BMW are different. Ended up ordering OEM ones. Need to find a solution for the steering wheel that matches the OEM quality

I received both my front and rear 50th Anniversary badges from BMW of Lincoln in just a couple weeks for $42ea. including tax. Here is my question. I have removed many roundels in the past 30+ years of BMW ownership, so I know how the OG Roundels come off and go on. These on my 2021 M2C are obviously glued on or have double sided tape. Normally I use dental Floss or fishing line to get under the edge and pull them up and off. I cannot get under these with either!! I am reading that people are saying to use a heat gun to soften the adhesive. That sounds great but I have PPF that is trimmed right up to the edge of the Roundel and I'm a bit concerned about cooking it and the fact the front bumper cover is made from a polypropylene compound.

What process did you guys who have removed these more modern Roundels utilize?

I used a plastic business card to slide under the roundel about an inch. I then used a pry tool to remove the roundel. I did not use a heat gun.

Oh, I did use blue tape all around the roundel first to protect the paint.

Anyone know if I would be able to pick these up from BMW in Munich? Planning to go to Europe soon actually.

Are g42 roundels the same for our purposes? Can get them shipped from autoid for a reasonable international postage fee.

My floating centre cap previously failed and the roundel is held on by just a bit of proxy glue. I reckon you could warm them and remove with a suction cup.

Question is can we get OEM correctly sized roundels for the wheels to apply?

Mind you I quite like the idea of some asymmetry!

If the roundels are 82MM and 74mm then they should work.

Reviving this thread: has anyone found a viable source to acquire the wheel centre caps? I believe they’re 68mm per the info below.

Personally, I am leaning towards these: https://bimmerplug.com/products/bmw-...44297095676155

Does BimmerPlug supply high quality stuff? I have never purchased from them, so I’m not sure if they repackage same ones from China/eBay sellers or have their own higher end supply chain. I mean, let’s be honest, these are centre caps, so they aren’t critical to anything…but wouldn’t want them to fall off the rim or logo peeling off in 6 mo or so.

As far as I know there are no OEM wheel caps that fit our BMW.

Thanks - I understand that BMW does not make 68mm 50th Anniversary centre caps. A related question: for those of you who did swap to the hood/boot anniversary badges…what did you do with the wheel caps? Personally I am not a fan of mished-mashed logos…

I suppose that I am looking for a vendor/source that has centre caps with quality as close to OEM as possible. So, is BimmerPlug along OEM lines (at least better than eBay quality) or simply ‘stay away from’ kind of a vendor?

Answering my own question regarding BimmerPlug

https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...1871765&page=1

Guess this ‘company’ is nothing but an AliExpress reseller + ridiculous markups. Hopefully this saves fellow Bimmerpost members $ and hassles…

So, back to my original question: nobody on this thread bought matching 50yr anniversary centre caps that are close (enough) to OEM quality?

I have BBS wheels and therefore used BBS wheel caps.

Well played sir - hard to argue with that thinking.

I reckon that, for us plebeian folks still rocking the OEM rims, we have limited centre caps options.

First world problems, I know.
