Auto Recirculate
Does anyone know if there is anyway to keep the manual recirculate on and keep the heater on?
Where I live there is constantly an inversion, I'm lucky enough to live above it, but I don't work above it. I'd like to keep the fresh air in my car as long as possible. |

I'm not 100% sure what you're asking.
My heater works just fine with the air recalculation set to manual mode. I think what you want is for the car to remember your temperature and recirculation settings? If so, you can use bimmercode for that. http://www.bimmercodeapp.com/ |

I'm talking about the re-circulation mode will automatically switch back from manual to auto mode (usually after 3-5 minutes) while heating, this supposedly is to reduce condensation.

This is all I could really find on the subject matter: http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...6&postcount=11 Weird that some bmw's let you keep recirc on but ours won't. You can always bring it up to your SA, but outside of finding a way to code it to stay on indefinitely I don't think there's much you can really do about it. |

this is exactly my question as well. I live in an area with heavy slow speed traffic and occasionally bad pollution.
I'm trying through Bimmercode but no success yet. It's strange that on my 2012 F10 it could be done but not on the M2? http://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...postcount=1421 |
