I think folding mirrors (I had Carly for a brief time). However, some things never coded properly with Carly for me. I now use bimmercode which works flawlessly and does more for much less $.

Yes...

Just as a warning to those that dont already know this, coding the FEM module or FRM n F series repeatedly with Carly or Bimmercode WILL destroy it...It happened in mt e92 m3 and m2 as cary was releasing so many coding feature updates...Thankfully I was warrantied

I am debating on DRL brightness % when headlight is on. Seems 8% or 12% as default. 100% would be dazzling in the dark and washed out a little bit according to some people. Open to opinions as to what % is a good balance?

Which section in bimmercode is it for folding mirrors on lock? Whatever I changed doesn't seem to have worked.

So far I've done ASD and iDrive warning, would also like to try the seat moving for easy entry but unsure how to code that.

Thanks.

- Go into "Front Electronic Module"
- Change "Comfort closing with key fob" to Active
- Change "Fold mirrors when locking vehicle with Comfort Access" to Active
- I would also go ahead and change "Comfort opening with key fob" to Active, and "Unfold mirrors when unlocking..." to Active. This will automatically unfold the mirrors when you unlock.

Note: you have to hold the button down for a second or two to fold when locking. There’s a additional setting to change the delay.

How do you change the ASD in Bimmercode? I’m still not sure I have it on my 2015 F32 435i - pretty sure I don’t, but I’d like to confirm.

Possible to code instrument lighting like this orange/white instead of full orange at dark?

Maybe a little brighter orange/white would be even better.

Thanks for your reply re my query.

In response to your question, one of the main items in the ECU list in Bimmercode is Active Sound Design (ASD_01). Im new to this but I assume if you dont see it in your app its not valid for your vehicle.

Cheers

Go to iDrive, vehicle settings, lighting settings, external, deselect "daytime running lights".

This is off of what I remember, might be slightly off.

In Canada DRLs are mandatory so we don’t have this setting. I want to know how tho add it via coding.

ohhhh ok I see, sorry, pretty sure there's a DRL coding feature. Maybe someone else can chime in.
