Just a comment on Mineral Grey ...

Picked up my 2017 M2 this afternoon from BMW of Austin. Love these guys!

Let just say Mineral Grey, with black kidney and side grills, is simply a thing of beauty. I cannot imagine that there is any better color for this car.

And - Ive heard that MG cars are far far faster than cars having the other 3 colors.

Congrats! My MG should be exiting the factory any day now and I cannot wait to see it in person! I also opted for the black kidneys but didn't choose the side gills (yet). Please post some pics! I promise to do the same in a few weeks

I don't have to imagine it. I've already seen it, and it's called Long Beach Blue.

How do you compare the M2 vs. the 135is in terms of pure driving pleasure?

I've had very little time with the M2, but I actually see it as more refined. The run-flats on the 135is were always too firm for me. I always saw myself eventually looking into changing to PSS's when I needed tires.

I also think there's less drone in the cabin for the M2 than the 135is had. The base MPE on the 135is actually seems louder than the M2 (where I didn't get the MPE).

If you can find the M2-unobtainium, get it. That said, the 135is has plenty of driving pleasure.

I had a blast test driving a 135is earlier this year but want something more "special", the M2 may be the ticket for me.

Word of caution on those PSS tires, I replaced the run-flats on my 335d last October while also getting new wider rims (265/35/18), it didn't last but ~12,000 miles on the rear

Saw MG in the flesh. Looks really good stock. Not sure if it needs the grills, so hard to tell from pics. The boxy, wide look of this car is really something that has to be seen in person.
