Evolve M2 Build

As you know we took delivery of our M2 aka "Starla" last week. Although we have only covered around 550 miles so far we have been very impressed with it especially in the handling department. It is a lot of fun to drive.

Here are some pictures of it a few days after pick up once it had some new car prep and ceramic coating by our preferred detailer Unique Detail using the Siramik brand product.

We will keep this thread updated as and when we make changes to car. We have some exciting plans for it and are excited about making progress.

If you are on Instagram the car has a dedicated username which is @StarlaM2

I was wondering why there was such a lack of orange peel! Is that with the Diamas Professionali coating?

awesome. I thought there weren't any significant weight savings with this modification. But 4.5 kg per corner is a lot. What about the calipers?

interested in that write up...

We don't set ourselves specific goals. Once we start tuning and datalogging we'll settle for something that we are comfortable with

Bilstein B16 Coilovers Fitted with 12mm rear spacers. Full write up on the suspension set up coming when I get some more wheel time in the car.

Tuning starts next week now that run in service has been completed at 950 miles.

The car will also be on display at Essen so we have much to do before then!

How's it going on the tuning front? What do you think we could realistically get from the M2 without adding a turbo, 400bhp?

Stage 1 is complete. Will do a write up on it soon. Yes I think without adding a hybrid just over 400 BHP (flywheel) on our dyno is about it.

We've still got downpipe, exhaust, FMIC and intake to add.

Did you guys figure out some type of 02 simulator that retains readiness like the e92 m3 tune you sell?
