Are the black side gills available as port addons with a bmw part number like the kidney grills are? Or are they aftermarket only?

Also, for those who had the black grills and gills installed at the port, what was the cost?

buy and install them yourself.

I just snapped off the chrome part leaving the black plastic part attached to the car and snapped the new gloss black part on. all of 2 seconds/side

Port installed items are at MSRP. I forget but I think installation is free, best to ask your SA.

If getting multiple items it might also be cheaper getting a package? Not sure of the current choices or where to learn more about them.

Port installed is no labor charge.

It's no labor charge but it cost more than if you had bought it from dealership separately. The installed price is included in the port install option.

Yea, that's pretty much what I had thought.. As it turns out, I actually dont think the chrome looks bad on the LBB.. Had I ordered the MGM or the AW, I definitely would have gotten the black gills and grills.. But I really dont have a problem with the chrome ones on the LBB.
