Tire Pressure and Understeer
So I noticed that my M2 with MPSS has pretty noticeable understeer compared to my '05 SLK350, which is definitely a huge surprise. I compared both of them with warm tires on the same backroads in the same weather, and the M2 just understeered where there would be none from the Benz.
The SLK has wide aftermarket wheels and Conti DWSs all around, but absolutely no modification besides that. I'm wondering if this has anything to do with the tire pressure in the M2, or maybe if I'm just driving it wrong. I've been keeping the tires at the recommended pressure for speeds above 100 mph, but I'm wondering if using different pressures would make a difference. Thoughts? |

Also at Assen Moto GP track (stock car on PSS) no understeer really.
Turn in is out of this world and a bit M2's USP(also compared to some Lotusses, Caymans) Dunno. How is tyrepressure(I'm used to BAR, not PSI)? Cheers Robin |
