M2 Competition Package?
There's been news that some leaked doc suggested a Competition Package for M2 coming early next year, apart from the CS.
Any insights? Is retrofit even possible from BMW? |

Competition Package retro-fit has never been possible in the past. Probably won't be possible in the future.
It sounds interesting to me but it's not going to stop me from taking delivery of my 2018. The M2 as a $70k USD car is just not appealing to me. |

But I thought the competition package adds less than $5k for the M3/4? So for M2 it'll be kept under $60k right?

Leak says M2 Competition. I believe that the M2 Competition and M2 CS are the same. Look at the December 2016 update on the following link:

Same situation here. Expect delivery somewhere in Oct.
I wish it's the same thing as the CS people's been talking about. Given the price hike, I won't regret getting the "normal" M2. But if's it's indeed competition package as offered on M3/4, I'll definitely wish I'd get a bit refinement. |

Just that the leak is implying that competition package is an addition to the CS model. So I came here to see if there's any update here. |

The C&D article references this BMW model codes document which lists the same models that we've known about for a while, going all the way back to the start of this year. It does not contain any new model codes.

Yes I think I've seen those model codes before. Didn't check the source of the so called leak. Now looks like we're just expecting CS then. |
