That's JPuehl's 135i I believe Houton's prototype ps3 is a bit different than the pure750.

Looking forward to hearing about it. I think mine is getting shipped in another week or so.

Almost there. Drove the 1.1 mile trip home today after a review of the initial startup logs. Will have the next revision shortly so I should begin to really experience it next week.

For now I’m just glad to have it home and to see it appears to have survived the undertaking.

Just got back from a successful weekend at the track with my Pure750. It was COLD outside! Success is defined as: car didn't have any issues, hit a new top speed at the end of the straight (156mph), and made it home in one piece. Video, data, and track driving impressions to follow in the next few days.

Congrats man. Such a big milestone given the journey. Hope you get another million laps in it.

Here is a quickly edited video without any data added (you'll want to skip the last two minutes of the video where I start my cool down - I was happy with that lap time and I was pretty tired, so I didn't want to make a mistake and crash):

Notice the third gear wheel wheel spin with cold tires accelerating onto the track. Pure750 at work! Speaking of cold tires...got a bit of a drift at turn four that I decide to ride out a bit. I didn't let them warm up as much because I didn't want the guys behind me to pass me or catch up.

Love seeing my track brethren with larger turbos come to life!

Will certainly be interested in how much time you guys pick up in the straights, mid-corner power delivery, and temps (IAT, coolant, oil) as summer hits.

I spy some data on the MHD readout...What mount and tablet are you using for yours? Mine is super slow and I just keep it on the passenger seat when I'm any type of logging.

That's the MHD Monitor screen. I have the CSV file that I'll incorporate with the video to get a better idea of what's happening. It might take a couple days for me to get to it. That's why this video is the "quick edit" version. I'll add the data shortly and share it here.

The table is an OLD iPad mini and the holder is a ProClip mount.

Oh yeah, I already have the same with my MHD, I just use 4 monitors on screen instead of the 6 you have.

I think you have fuel pressure at the bottom, IAT in the 2nd row right column, the rest are too hard for me to read out. The data is nice, and if what I'm seeing is correct, things are stay cool. But more than the overlay, I'm curious about how it drives.

The tubular manifold appears to allow the car to make nearly an additional 100WHP on the same fuel, but the spool and low end are not as good as a PS2. It just appears to be better suited for a track car. I'll be looking at the shift points and how well you hold the revs on track.

Still too early for any real impressions but even on the base map we used to wake it up running 93oct, it feels spicier than before on BM3 S2.

Hope to have some feedback and videos to share after rowing some gears WOT later this week.

Regarding spool, here's a thread with some info about JPeuhl's 135i that was posted above (replace the "xx" with "oo")

https://www.spxxlstreet.com/threads/...-19-2023.9170/

On that dyno, he's intentionally limiting boost before 4500 rpm. Sounds like it may spool just as good, if not better than the ps2.

Driving impressions: There is an increase in turbo lag (not a surprise), but it is manageable. I may start the throttle a bit earlier than normal, but I am typically easing into it anyway as I unwind the steering wheel so it isn't bad. Also, as I learn to anticipate the delay in boost, I am hoping to be able to unwind the steering wheel at the same time (or slightly before) to preempt any/some oversteer when at the edge of traction. The lag is TOTALLY worth the extra power! There is little doubt that instant throttle response is the ideal situation (like in a V8 or with a super charger), but this turbo is FAR from disappointing. So glad I didn't do the 500.

Here is the video with data:

I haven't analyzed it much. Just noticed that the VRSF Race intercooler seems to be doing it job much better than the CSF I had before.

Nice, love the new top speed and power!

Torque at clutch values show we're pushing similar power, albeit I'm on E50 and you're on 91/93. Shows the power potential of the 750. No lag with my TTE460, but it's certainly generating more heat even with E50 to push similar power levels.

IATs are 27F max delta at the end of the straight, similar to my setup. Definitely much better than the CSF!

Engine temps look good, but it was also 41F. I generally do not have significant cooling issues until temps get 75F or higher, so curious what these values will look like come summertime.

Nice work!

Minute marker 2:15 - 423lb-ft @ 6449RPM = 519hp
minute marker 2:31 -445lb-ft @ 6129RPM = 519hp

I'm assuming it's a flat torque delivery map? In terms of boost -21PSI, and near 100WGDC, that can't be right, can it? I thought these things boost to 25-28PSI? You might need to open up the intake more if you haven't, and maybe the exhaust.

Not sure about the map. I do have a question into my tuner about the power delivery/lag.

Intake is stock. Exhaust is stock except for the catless pipe.

I haven't seen an intake that would perform better in terms of bringing in cold air. Maybe I am missing it or I should be looking at flow more than temp...?

I would love to open up the exhaust, but not sure what is best. I might try to make one myself because I'd like to try, but I don't think that's in the cards. Now that I am not driving it on the street, I only have to worry about noise ordinances at tracks or my ears.

You might consider the OTS Supersprint mid section that’s 3.1in diameter and mates to factory bits in that case.
