Changing car model in idrive possible?

Hi,

I having idrive 6?! in my F87 LCI. I dont like the silver normal 2 series car, shown in the idrive.
Is it possible to change this image in the idrive?

No. For changing vehicle colour its only possible in MGU (ID7).
But for ID6 its possible to change the image in the idrive to a custom image. PM me i can do it.

Care to expound on this a bit? What do you typically use? Any details you can share are appreciated.

You access the HU through SSH. This gives you read/write access to the storage of the HU. You find and replace the image to any custom image.
You need to first unlock the SSH port by buying activation code, then login using any SSH client then copy the images to the HU.

Yes. As long as it is an image it can be edited. Which menu are you referring to?
