BMW M2 Coupé at Autosalon Brussel 2016

I just heard that the BMW M2 Coupé will be displayed at the Autosalon Brussel 2016 alongside the BMW M4 GTS. The car show starts a few days after the Detroit Auto Show (NAIAS) on the 12th of January with the press day. The show starts for paying visitors on the 14th.

Rumor has it that the official M2 presentation at NAIAS Detroit will take place on Jan 13, 2016. Thus on the third day of the exhibition.

We will see if that's correct.

I got in touch with BMW Belux and was told that there is no official statement from BMW.de untill now. Nevertheless there is a good chance the M2 still will be present.

The M3 and M4 received their World Premiere in Detroit in January 2014, followed shortly afterwards with their European Premiere in Brussels. I fully expect the same situation next month.

With regards to colours, as the M3 and M4 were in their "official" launch colours (YMB for the M3, and AY for the M4), then I expect the M2 will appear in LBB, and maybe another colour if there is more than one example at the shows.

In any case my dealer promised me 2 tickets for the gala night.
That's the night before the day especially reserved for the press.
Advantage, no masses of people. You can easily approach all the cars. Right and left the possibility to enjoy a glass of champagne admiring all these shining beauties.

I hope this doesn't corelate but on the video game YouTube videos the cost is 55k. My goal is 55k all in so let's root for the 51k base is accurate.

I'm there on the 14th, first public day. Does anyone know if it will be easy to access the stand to sit in / see the M2 properly? I asked my dealer but they couldn't help.
Don't fancy flying over from the UK to be told I can't access the stand.

Tons of people over there. Personally, I don't like. Anyway try to be over there as early as possible.
Thanks to my dealer I have the opportunity to be present at the gala night, on the 12th from 20.00 until 24.00.

It's really not worth flying over from the UK for. Brussels is no Geneva or Frankfurt. I'll be going on the 14th too but I live about an hour away.

Really? Not even to get to see an M2 before I have to finilise spec? 1 hour 20 flight there and back in a day really isn't a big deal when I'm forking out 50k on the car.
